Case Study

A leading healthcare company came to Spyder Works to avoid growing pains.

Already a leader in Canada’s healthcare system, the organization was ready to dramatically broaden its menu of service offerings and occupy a more prominent place in the lives of its clients. The expanded role would empower clients to get more involved in decisions affecting their health. With an audience that included clients, healthcare system providers and employees, Spyder Works was tasked with harmonizing brand strategies and corporate messages in a breakthrough corporate transformation.

In this complex, multi-stakeholder marketplace, Spyder Works worked with the senior management team to create the product development and marketing road map that would essentially re-imagine and re-invent the brand and client experience, both at bricks and mortar locations and on line. The ultimate goal was to evolve from a transaction to a high touch relationship culture.

Our multi-faceted approach began with national research among patients and healthcare system stakeholders as well as workshops with the company’s employees to identify fresh market insights. The research included scans of the marketplace to understand the competitive landscape along with its gaps in service and its future possibilities. Spyder Works then collaborated with the company’s Board, investors and senior team to craft a go-to-market strategy and articulate a compelling brand platform. Spyder Works added client-centric product development support followed by Voice-of-the Customer research using quantitative and qualitative techniques for online product design.

The result of the high intensity research and strategy was a confident and tightly-focused campaign of integrated branding, marketing and advertising to patients, doctors, government and industry stakeholders. Spyder Works helped to complete the circle with comprehensive employee engagement.
